Namaste and welcome to Pokhara! This is Nepal's gateway to the mountains, and whether you're here for a few quiet days by the lake or heading straight out to the Annapurna trails, Car Rental Nepal gets you from the airport to your next stop without any hassle.
We run private transfers between Pokhara International Airport (PIA) and any point in the valley — your hotel in Lakeside, a sunrise viewpoint, or a trailhead deep in the hills. Skip the airport hassle. Your ride is already waiting, so your trip starts with a smooth drive instead of a search for transport. You get a clean vehicle, a driver who knows the roads, and a price you agreed to before you landed.
Pokhara's roads range from smooth city streets to rough mountain tracks, and the right vehicle makes a real difference. Our fleet covers both ends of that range, from comfortable sedans for a quick ride into town to heavy-duty 4x4 Scorpio Jeeps built for the climb up to Ghandruk or Jhinu Danda. Whichever route you're taking, your driver will already know the road, the traffic patterns, and the best way to get you there on time.⚡ Heading straight to a trailhead or your hotel? Book your driver ahead of time and skip the arrival-hall confusion. Message us on WhatsApp or call our 24/7 line at +977 9851186932.
Arrival Transfer: How It Works
Book your transfer: Once you book, our team confirms your flight number, arrival date and time, passenger count, and luggage details so we send the right vehicle.
We track your flight: Before you land, we’re already watching the flight boards, so your driver is parked and ready the moment you touch down.
Meet your driver at arrival: After you collect your bags and step outside, your driver will be waiting with a Car Rental Nepal placard showing your name. We send their name, photo, and vehicle plate number on WhatsApp beforehand, so you’ll recognize them right away.
Head to your vehicle: Your driver helps with your luggage and trekking gear, then walks you to your air-conditioned vehicle or 4x4 for mountain routes.
Departure Transfer: Heading Back Home
Share your details: Give us your departure flight time, pickup address, and preferred pickup time. We’ll factor in local traffic and suggest the right departure time.
On-time pickup: Your driver arrives at your hotel on schedule and helps load your bags.
Smooth ride to the airport: Your driver knows the traffic patterns around the valley and takes the most reliable route to PIA.
Drop-off at the terminal: We take you right to the departure gate, so check-in is quick and simple.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far is the new Pokhara International Airport from Lakeside?
The airport is about 8 to 9 kilometers from Lakeside. A private car transfer usually takes 20 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic.
Can I book a last-minute car for the Sarangkot sunrise?
You can, but we recommend booking at least 12 hours ahead to guarantee a driver is ready for the 4:30 AM pickup, especially during peak trekking season (October–November and March–April).
Are the vehicle prices per person?
No. All rates are per vehicle. The price stays the same whether you're traveling solo or with a full group, which makes it a good value for families and trekking parties.
What if my flight to Pokhara is delayed or cancelled?
We monitor the flight boards, and your driver will wait up to 2 hours at no extra cost. If your flight is cancelled, let us know 12 hours in advance and we'll reschedule your transfer free of charge.
Do the jeep rates to places like Ghandruk include checkpoint fees?
Our rates cover the vehicle, fuel, driver, and road taxes. Trekking permits, such as TIMS cards or ACAP entry fees, are separate and must be purchased by trekkers at official checkpoints.
How is this different from a regular airport taxi?
You get air conditioning, an English-speaking driver, flight tracking, a fixed price agreed in advance, and a driver meeting you by name — things a standard street taxi usually can't offer.
How do I book a Pokhara airport transfer?
Contact us through WhatsApp, email, or phone with your flight number, arrival date and time, and passenger count. We'll confirm you’re booking and send your driver's details before you land.
Can I book a return transfer at the same time?
Yes. Return transfers are available at the same rate, and booking both directions together is a convenient way to lock in your pricing for the whole trip.
Which vehicle should I choose for a trailhead transfer?
It depends on your route and group size. Nayapul, Kande, and Phedi work well with an SUV, while Ghandruk, Ulleri, and Jhinu Danda require a 4x4 Scorpio Jeep due to the rough mountain roads. Let us know your group size and gear, and we'll recommend the right fit.
Do I need to pay a deposit to confirm my booking?
No upfront payment is required. We offer reserve-now-pay-later booking, and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup.
