Arrival Transfer: How It Works

Book your transfer: Once you book, our team confirms your flight number, arrival date and time, passenger count, and luggage details so we send the right vehicle.

We track your flight: Before you land, we’re already watching the flight boards, so your driver is parked and ready the moment you touch down.

Meet your driver at arrival: After you collect your bags and step outside, your driver will be waiting with a Car Rental Nepal placard showing your name. We send their name, photo, and vehicle plate number on WhatsApp beforehand, so you’ll recognize them right away.

All prices are per vehicle, not per person. Rates are one-way and include fuel, driver charges, and applicable taxes.

Note: The routes to Ghandruk, Ulleri, and Jhinu Danda run on narrow, unpaved mountain roads. A HiAce van cannot make these trips — a 4x4 Scorpio Jeep is required and included at the listed rate.

If your group has large duffels or climbing equipment, book an SUV or a Scorpio Jeep so everyone and everything fits comfortably.All vehicles are private — you won’t share a ride with other passengers. Prices are per vehicle, one-way. Return transfers are available at the same rate.

TIMS and ACAP permit guidance is available on request. Permit fees are paid directly by trekkers at official checkpoints.

The airport is about 8 to 9 kilometers from Lakeside. A private car transfer usually takes 20 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic.

Can I book a last-minute car for the Sarangkot sunrise?

You can, but we recommend booking at least 12 hours ahead to guarantee a driver is ready for the 4:30 AM pickup, especially during peak trekking season (October–November and March–April).

Are the vehicle prices per person?

No. All rates are per vehicle. The price stays the same whether you're traveling solo or with a full group, which makes it a good value for families and trekking parties.

What if my flight to Pokhara is delayed or cancelled?

We monitor the flight boards, and your driver will wait up to 2 hours at no extra cost. If your flight is cancelled, let us know 12 hours in advance and we'll reschedule your transfer free of charge.

Do the jeep rates to places like Ghandruk include checkpoint fees?

Our rates cover the vehicle, fuel, driver, and road taxes. Trekking permits, such as TIMS cards or ACAP entry fees, are separate and must be purchased by trekkers at official checkpoints.

How is this different from a regular airport taxi?

You get air conditioning, an English-speaking driver, flight tracking, a fixed price agreed in advance, and a driver meeting you by name — things a standard street taxi usually can't offer.
